Ellesmere Port

The Blue Planet Aquarium is the largest in the country and is home
to no fewer than 22 sharks!. The Boat Museum features 60 colourful
boats, many of which can be boarded. Cheshire Oaks, Europes largest
designer outlet, includes around 120 famous designer and brand names.
The local market is open everyday apart from Wednesday.

picturesque village was built in the 19th century for the
local soap factory workers, the Heritage Centre explores the
fascinating history of the village. The Lady Lever Art Gallery,
houses a superb collection of pre-Raphaelite works, Wedgewood,
and 18th century furniture.

Arrowe Park

This is one of the largest parks in the Wirral with acres of woodland
and meadows to walk through. There are also bowling greens, tennis
courts, pitch and putt, and an 18 hole golf course.
Hoylake

Recently added to the "future British Open Championship venues"
list is the magnificent Hoylake - Royal Liverpool Golf Club
(5 minutes from Cheriton). You are spoilt for choice when
eating in Hoylake as it features very smart wine bars, traditional
pubs, and also excellent continental cuisine.

Found in the heart of rural Wirral, you'll find the Voirrey Embroidery
Center and the Craft Centre with their regular touring exhibitions
and courses. Also in the area is Brimstage Hall with it's 12th century
crypt, and the delicious home-cooking of the Country Mouse Restaurant.
Liverpool

There's just so much to do and see here that it's worth at least
a couple of days alone. Albert Dock, Beatles Story, City Sight Seeing
Tours, City Walks, The Cavern, Liverpool Ducks (Amphibious Sightseeing
Tours), Merseyside Maritime Museum, Conservation Centre, Walker
Art Gallery, Tate, Mersey Ferries, Exciting Shopping, Grand National

Chester

This Roman & medieval walled cathederal city is only 30 minutes
drive from Cheriton. It features a fascinating mix of Roman heritage,
medieval remains and Victorian splendour. With plenty of Shops,
a Museum, Bus Tours, Boat Trips, the River Dee, Racecourse, and
Chester Zoo which was voted 'Best Zoo in the UK' by Holiday Which,
there is more than enough to keep the whole family happy.
